WHO BENEFITS FROM COACHING?

Executive & Leadership Teams
High Potential & Emerging Leaders
Cross-Functional Project Teams

WHAT TOPICS CAN WE EXPLORE?
Combine strategy, facilitation & coaching expertise to facilitate conversations on various organizational issues:
Establishing guiding principles to clarify purpose & strategic direction.
Creating effective working contracts & assessing individual strengths with new teams.
Identifying how to improve professional working relationships by building trust & psychological safety.
Building transparent decision-making processes and using effective planning to help teams take action with purpose and confidence.
Exploring & resolving dysfunctional patterns your team observes when operating in “crisis mode.”
THE TEAM COACHING PROCESS
In our initial Stakeholder meeting, we discuss organizational needs and design the coaching program together. Your team fills out an initial assessment to prepare and gain insight into which problems will be tackled.
REVEAL (SESSION 1)
During our first session, we will develop a team alliance and reveal more group dynamics with the stakeholders present. The team will set goals, build trust and get their questions answered on the structure of the coaching.
COACH & LEARN (SESSION 2-6)
In ongoing regular team coaching sessions, issues will be surfaced and solved together, in a fun and engaging way. The team will build trust and accountability together as we learn and work towards the key organizational outcomes we set out to achieve.
COMMITMENT (FINAL SESSION)
In our final completion session, the team will get closure, review learnings and celebrate what we have achieved together. There will be time to decide and declare how the team will carry on learnings and agreements into the future.
The team and stakeholders will fill out a feedback survey to solidify learning and plan for future team coaching opportunities.
KEY BENEFITS & EXPECTED OUTCOMES
There is a strong sense of team leadership. This includes but is more than the role of the team leader. Team members contribute as the need for their leadership arises. The team leader or sponsor’s role is clear and supportive of the team as a whole.
There is an atmosphere of mutual respect and genuine positive regard. Contempt and hostility are not tolerated. We empower other members of the team to contribute their best.
Clear communication is valued over less direct approaches like politicizing, gossiping or stonewalling. The team avoids criticizing, defensiveness and finger-pointing. Giving and receiving feedback on this team is specific and timely.
It is safe on this team to speak your mind openly without fear of reprisal. We can count on each other; we are reliable. We tell the truth even if it is uncomfortable or unpopular.
GOALS & DECISION-MAKING
The team has clear, challenging goals and strategies to achieve them. The team is highly resilient and not easily defeated in their goals. There are clear and efficient decision-making processes, which have proven effective over time.
The team values cooperation, cohesion and interdependence. There is a sense of common mission and purpose. Conflict is seen as providing an opportunity for discovery, growth and creativity. “We don’t always agree, but we stand together.”
There is clarity of roles and responsibilities with a high follow-through. When problems arise, the team responds. Team members actively hold each other accountable for team results and team agreements.
There is a strong sense of belonging to the team. The team celebrates and acknowledges accomplishments. Empathy, playfulness and humour are present.
The team has an inspiring shared vision. They are enthusiastic, forward-looking and appreciative of each other. Even on the most challenging days, this is a team that would say, “We can do it.”
